On February 8 2021, Canada launched ‘Hong Kong Pathway’ to allow Hong Kong Applicants to apply for a 3 year work permit to work in Canada, in order to attract recent graduates and skilled workers with faster permanent residency.

IRCC updated the latest visa immigration processing time on March 2, 2021. Compared with the last update on February 23, the processing time for super visa, work permit and Permanent Residence Card renewal have slightly reduced. The processing time for Permanent Residence Card application is slightly increased. Other items remain unchanged.

Compared with the last update on February 16, the processing time for visitor visas and study permits has increased slightly. Study permit renewals, work permits and PR Cards have slightly decreased.
