Intra-company transferees / ICT
ICT, full name Intra-Company Transferee, ICT work visa is the internal employee transfer work visa of multinational companies. Foreign businesses with a parent, branch, subsidiary or affiliate in Canada may choose to bring key employees from overseas to Canada through an intracompany transfer program. Work permits obtained through this program do not require a labor market impact assessment. While exempt from the Labour Market Impact Assessment, workers and employers using the intra-company transfer program must comply with all regulations for temporary work in Canada, including obtaining a temporary resident visa where applicable.
International Experience Canada
International Experience Canada (IEC) is an open visa program in Canada. If you hold a Canadian/Taiwan passport, or are a resident of an area that has a bilateral youth mobility arrangement with Canada, IEC can give you the opportunity to work legally in Canada, all persons aged 18 to 35 who have a bilateral youth mobility agreement with Canada Citizens of countries in between can apply for IEC to obtain a work permit. Those selected will be eligible to work in Canada.
